Are You Searching For A Way To Heal With Jesus As Your Co-Pilot?
As a Christian, do you wish you could find a therapist who is comfortable inviting Scripture, Prayer, and the Holy Spirit into counseling sessions?
Do you long for a closer, more profound connection to God—one you can lean on to manage daily stressors and mental health concerns while building a life that aligns with His will?
Perhaps you’re trying to draw from your faith to show up better in relationships or just be a better person, but it feels like you’re doing it all wrong. On the other hand, maybe you sense your connection to Christ is fading—or you just feel stuck and don’t know how to improve things on your own.
Sometimes, Our Relationship With God Can Get Complicated
Like many Christians considering therapy, you probably find yourself constantly stressing out, overthinking, and questioning whether you’re “good enough”: Am I weak for having depression? Am I bad for leaving this toxic relationship? Am I a failure because I haven’t done enough in God’s Name?
Perhaps something terrible happened in your life that made you question His goodness or even His existence. Or maybe you grew up in a strict Christian household, which strained your relationship with the church and the Lord—something you would like to change.
At Reset Wellness Center, you can do just that. From learning how to show up better in relationships to overcoming trauma and restoring your faith, my role as a Christian counselor is to meet you where you are in your search for healing on this sacred spiritual journey.

Many Christians Struggle With Anxiety Around Their Faith
Much of that stress often comes from the people around us—our inner circle of friends, family, and even co-workers. All too frequently, we’re viewed as holier-than-thou, intolerant, or anti-intellectual, and many of us face the constant prospect of judgment, rejection, and alienation.
That negative feedback creates an internal tug of war between being true to our faith and potentially having to make difficult changes or decisions in our lives. Whether it involves leaving a toxic marriage, switching jobs, or just making life choices that align more closely with Scripture, it’s not always easy understanding how to use our faith or what God wants us to do.

Christian Counseling Is Not A Replacement For God
Just as a pastor doesn’t seek to replace God in His role, I’m just an individual the Holy Spirit uses to help facilitate healing, change, and transformation.
While church, Scripture, and prayer are extremely powerful tools for healing and managing daily life, it’s not always easy using those resources to find relief on our own. What’s more, when we stumble and falter, that sense of letting God or ourselves down can feed directly into the self-doubt and fear that’s already wearing at our faith.
My job as a Christian counselor and the founder of Reset Wellness Center is to help you discern what God may be trying to communicate to you while trusting in His goodness, willingness, and faithfulness to help. I’m merely here to be your guide, to show you how to draw upon Scripture, prayer, and your faith to build a healthier relationship with Christ and a more meaningful, fulfilling life all around.
Understanding The Heart And Mind Of God Through Christian Counseling
If you’re looking to combine the power of faith with evidence-based clinical support, Christian therapy with Reset Wellness Center has you covered. Here, you can talk about the real challenges of following Jesus without feeling like you’re crazy or being judged for bringing your beliefs into the conversation.
Christian counseling enables you to process your challenges and translate your experiences within a spiritual framework by inviting the Holy Spirit into sessions for guidance and instruction. In therapy, healing happens not only from a psychological standpoint, but equally so from a spiritual perspective because we’re drawing from Scripture to better understand the mind, heart, and will of God.
What Can You Expect In Christian Counseling Sessions?
To start, I’ll use the first two sessions to get a broad overview of your situation and background. In our intake session, we’ll likely explore your upbringing, your relationships with caregivers, and your specific belief system. We’ll look at the immediate and long-standing challenges you’re facing, including any trauma or painful experiences that have disrupted life or complicated your faith.

Together, we’ll examine your current responses to stressors, mental health concerns, or relationship issues while developing a plan for dealing with those challenges effectively and independently. As we explore treatment options, I'll evaluate the intensity and frequency of negative mental health symptoms you might be experiencing through formal assessments. We will also talk about future sessions and how you would like to incorporate your Christian beliefs into sessions.
As the founder of Reset Wellness Center, I have experience as both a therapist and a coach who can gently hold up a mirror and help people face problems head-on. My ultimate goal as a Christian counselor is to free you from the need of long-term therapy by empowering you to navigate change with trust and find meaning amid the chaos so you can weather the ups and downs of life independently.
Some Of The Christian-Based Tools We Use In Therapy
Beyond talk therapy, I also use several evidence-based psychotherapeutic methods to facilitate the healing process—all of which have been tailored for Christian clients:
EMDR
(Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is an extremely effective approach to healing trauma/PTSD and deep psychological wounding that is backed by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense. Learn more about EMDR.
Christian Mindfulness
Christian Mindfulness uses strategies like breathing exercises, guided prayer, and scripture meditation to help identify core values, improve emotional regulation, and make space for the Holy Spirit.
Brainspotting
Brainspotting, though somewhat odd-sounding, is similar to EMDR. The difference is that Brainspotting is less structured and more adaptable to clients’ needs—and it uses specific eye positions, called "brainspots," to help individuals access and process traumatic memories and stuck emotions more gently. Learn more about Brainspotting.
Christian Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Christian Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) draws from Scripture, prayer, and honest introspections with God to help clients challenge negative ideas about themselves and improve their overall mindset.
Reconnecting With God And Distilling Strength From Your Faith
If you’re looking for healing with a heavy emphasis on renewing your faith, strengthening your identity in Christ, and living with greater purpose, this is the place for you. Even if you’ve been to therapy before and things didn’t pan out the way you wanted, working with me as your Christian counselor offers you an ally, a guide, and a kindred spirit who truly understands and can help.
